Congratualtions on receiving your First Communion, Kayla. I'm sure it was very exciting for you. Jenny...nope, it's not the Connecticut River...but that is the correct type of body of water. Keep investigating!! That really strange "post" I received was because someone used the font "Wing Dings" so we couldn't read it. I believe that was Julia. I hope you are enjoying the book, Paige. We'll try to finish it up this week because I have another book I want to read to everyone. I hope it's not too scary. See you on Monday.

The Inner Harbor is usually the buildings around that body of water. So, you are right that that looks like the harbor...it needed a few more ships. BUT I want to know what the body of water is...we know it's not the Connecticut River, the Massachusetts Bay, or the Cape Cod Bay...so keep investigating... I hope you are both having a good weekend. I saw those penguins at the New England Aquarium. I went there with Mr. Buckley, Ms. Smith-Willis, Mrs. Driscoll, and Mrs. Odgen. No, that body of water is not the Cape Cod Bay. Keep trying...maybe the atlas might help to identify it. I'm glad you all had fun with the trundle wheel. I know Mrs. Irish did...she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES teaching you all math.

I'm Home!!
Hello 3E,
I missed you all a lot. I can hardly wait to see you all on Monday!! I brought you all a little surprise. I hope I don't forget it tomorrow because I put it in my suitcase. Boston was wonderful. The convention was terrific. BUT I am very tired!! We took a very long bus ride home, and we played some games and laughed a lot while we were on the bus. I think Mr. Euwer was glad to see me. He missed me a lot. I'm hoping I will have a very good report from Mrs. Fallon when I get into school on Monday morning.

A Busy Day 2 in Boston!!
Hello 3E,
I had another really busy day in Bean Town today. We started our day with a wonderful speaker. His name was Tarun Tejpal. He thinks that everyone needs love and laughter in their life. With those two things...anything is possible. We all need to remember that children flourish as much as they can!! I know YOU all do!! The message that we have gotten throughout our time in Boston is "learning from the past and leading for the future."
We saw the boys chorus from the Hillside School in Massachusetts sing a song that they wrote. They made CD's to raise money for a school in Kenya, Africa. They were TERRIFIC!! I bought their CD, so I will play the song they sang for all of you.
Then we went to a workshop where we learned ways to make our school a better place. I was in the meeting with Ms. Smith-Willis, Mr. Buckley, Mr. Conard, and Mr. Corvino. It was very good.
Ms. Smith Willis and I have to stay up very late tonight to pick up the students from their celebration. They have all worked very hard...and will lead a workshop for all the teachers tomorrow. I will tell you more about that later.
I miss you all. I hope you all remembered to dress down today...and that you had a GREAT day!! I will see you on Monday.

We saw a group of dancers called "The Outcasts" and they were wonderful. After all the boys performed the governor of Massachusetts had a taped message for all of us. He was a very good speaker. I was excited because Massachusetts is my state! Then we listened Windsor School's small chorus, and they sang "Joyful, Joyful." The girls did a magnificient job. This is the largest conference for NAIS ever!! There are 3,244 people here. There are 1,983 adults and 1,261 students. That's a lot of people to have to organize. Then after the Opening Ceremonies we met in groups and had some wonderful discussions about how we can make our schools a better place for everyone.
I miss you all a lot... remember that tomorrow is Dress Down Day, and I will see you on Monday...BE GOOD!!

Mrs. Euwer Has Arrived in Boston!!
Dear 3E,
Well...we all made it safe and sound!! The bus ride wa s little bit long, but I did get some knitting and correcting done. So, I made good use of my time. I miss you all a lot. There are a lot of Pingry teachers here...there are 14 of us and 6 students. We took a picture of the students and I will put it on the blog. Ms. Smith Willis and I already had a meeting because we are the chaperones for the students. We had a yummy dinner at the No Name Restaurant. Isn't that a silly name for a restaurant? We have our opening meetings tomorrow along with a breakfast. I will fill you in about how everything went tomorrow when I come back to our room.

Hello, 3E
Dear 3E, I am looking forward to going to Boston this week. I am going with 5 other teachers from Short Hills and Mr. Corvino. The teachers that are going are: Mrs. Driscoll, Mrs. Ogden, Mrs. Watts, Mr. Buckley, Ms. Smith-Willis, and me. This is a wonderful conference, and I hope to learn a lot.
